Marc Jacobs installation at JFK Airport

We were approached by a client needing a large 12ft x 12ft custom rug for a Marc Jacobs installation at JFK Airport, with a tight 4-week delivery timeline.

The brief required the rug to have a subtle shimmer and prominently feature the Marc Jacobs logo. To achieve this, we selected a hand-tufted Art Silk quality, using 15mm high pile for the logo lettering and 10mm low pile for the background. The letters were then expertly hand-carved to create a striking, elevated effect.

We presented three scale graph options for the client to choose from. Once approved, production began immediately under our express service. Throughout the process, we kept the client fully updated including progress photos like the one below, showing the intricate carving in progress.

Upon completion, final images were shared, and the rug was professionally packed and shipped to the USA. The client was delighted with the final result, and the rug received excellent feedback for its impact and quality at the installation.
